The Sennhütte is situated at 1543 m a. s. l. with a very beautiful view. M. with a very beautiful view. The one-storey alpine dairy is run with about 15 cows, 30 young animals and 12 goats. The alpine season lasts from the end of May to the beginning of October. The alp Pfruendnacki offers a rich and rare alpine flora. The original Braunvieh cows with their beautiful horns provide the milk for the particularly spicy Bernese Alpine cheese AOP. The goats also enjoy the freedom and peace of the Alps.
WAYS TO THE ALP
By car, take the goods road from Reutigen to Spittelnacki and then continue on foot for about 15 minutes to the hut.

Pfruendnacki used to belong to the church of Erlenbach; that is where the name comes from. The alp is characterised as steep, sunny and quiet.

Cooperative alp of the Ober Heiti mountain community. The Maurer family has been the tenants and managers since 1995.
