Around the beautiful Lake Thun are the hotels and restaurants of the Hauenstein Hotels. In total, we employ over 300 people in various areas of the hotel and restaurant business. (Almost) free of charge thanks to the L-GAV

Furthering education promotes professional careers, but is also associated with time expenditure and high costs. Since 2010, the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Hospitality Industry (L-GAV) has supported training and further education with extremely generous contributions. Hardly any other industry is so heavily subsidised in the area of training courses and thus offers very attractive opportunities for advancement and entry.

Currently 38 courses are subsidised - from basic and catch-up courses to postgraduate studies. Depending on the course, the savings range from a few hundred to over 15,000 francs.
