The starting point is the car park in Aeschiried, from where you walk towards Suldtahl. Surrounded by forests and meadows, you hike along the bubbling mountain stream Suld, which leads through the intact nature reserve Suldthal. After about an hour's hike, you reach the Pochentenfall restaurant. Here you can make your first stop and fortify yourself with coffee and croissants for the steep ascent.

We continue from the restaurant in the direction of the Pocheten Falls. The roar of the waterfall can already be heard from afar. The mountain stream, which falls over an 80-metre-high rock face, is refreshing on warm summer days and gives you new energy for the further ascent to the Louene. From the Louene, it takes about an hour to climb to the Brunni Hut. A short stop here is also worthwhile. Fresh, homemade cake and cool drinks give you strength for the last section of the hike.

From the Brunni hut, the trail leads over the Grad with a unique view in the direction of Leissigen, Interlaken or as far as the Kander valley. On the way, there is always the opportunity to sit on one of the many benches and enjoy the view and the peace and marvel at the landscape. Above the Bireberg you will find our beautiful self-named Blogbänkli. The exact location of the Blogbänkli is 46°38'05.5 "N 7°45'04.8 "E. From here you can look out over Lake Thun to Interlaken. Especially on cooler autumn days, the view is unique and clear.

After the last stop of the hike, the trail leads from Blogbänkli via a long, steep descent back to Aeschiried. From here you can also enjoy the wonderful view of Lake Thun and the Niesen.
