Interview with CASA Immobilien
What makes our job as real estate agents so appealing?
Basically, real estate brokerage is a beautiful vocation in and of itself. However, we believe that in our region it is doubly enjoyable to do this job. From a charming chalet to a modern condominium, our region has almost everything to offer.
On the one hand, we meet interesting people and, on the other hand, we visit the most diverse properties. No two properties are alike and no two clients have the same goal. The pride of the owners who own residential property around Lake Thun is palpable. Many clients cherish their property for decades. When we then accompany the owners in the sale of their house, this is always associated with many emotions. A story comes to an end in a house in which people have lived, laughed and cried. All these individual stories of people and their houses are unique and exciting.
What makes the Lake Thun region so "worth living in"?
- The combination between mountain, lake and picturesque villages is incomparable
- The city of Thun with its "Lädelis" and fine restaurants as a visitor magnet
- Numerous hiking trails lead around the lake basin
- The shape of the local mountain Niesen also fascinates locals anew every day
The history of CASA Immobilien
As early as the beginning of the 1970s, Erich Re Wyler proved to have a knack for the real estate trade and took the plunge from shoe shop owner to real estate agent. Over the years, the family business developed into a secure asset. His son Urs Wyler later focused on the core competence of sales. A few years ago, CASA Immobilien was finally handed over to the third generation. Andrea Wyler continues to run the family business and moved the premises back to the old town of Thun. This is where great-grandfather and grandfather once sold shoes. Today, the passion is as great as ever. For shoes, but above all for real estate.
Who is behind CASA Immobilien?
Andrea Wyler (Managing Director & third generation owner) and Samuel Bleuer (Deputy Managing Director) together form the management team. As Andrea's brother-in-law, Samuel also cares a lot about the family business. Together with the team, the two represent the values of their predecessors Urs (Andrea's father) and Erich Wyler (Andrea's grandfather).
Our corporate values of "commitment, honesty and empathy" form the basis for doing business with integrity. The fact that we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2022 is not a matter of course in our industry.
Tip from Andrea about the Lake Thun region
One of the most beautiful sections of the Way of St. James leads along the right bank of Lake Thun from Oberhofen via Gunten and Ralligen to Merligen and Sundlauenen. Enjoy a short break while hiking along this traditional path.
Tip from Sam about the Lake Thun region
The Brätlistelle above the Hilterfingen vineyard. It's great fun to be there. Accessible via pleasant hiking trails. Well-equipped fireplaces: Firewood and barbecue grills are available. Several tables and benches offer space to get together. A fountain cools the drinks. The view over the vines to the lake and the mountains is simply fantastic!
