The garden awakes from its hibernation

When I think of a garden, the first thing that comes to mind is my grandmother. Not because she has the perfect garden, but definitely the most creative one. Even as a child, it was always an experience for me to play in her garden, because there was always something new to discover. When it comes to gardening, that's why she's the go-to person for me, since I wasn't exactly blessed with a green thumb. Long story short: I asked my grandmother how she gets her garden fit for spring.
I'm happy to share her tips with you:
- During the winter, place bricks on the bed and remove them in early spring. Then "hoe" the soil a little, add new soil and fertilizer. Stir everything until it becomes airy and then put the flowers.
- Gather new ideas through the winter and "redecorate" in early spring.
- Decorate the garden with lots of homemade things.
- Spring is also the best time to cut back plants.
- Have fun redesigning, decorating and letting your creativity run wild under the warming spring sun!
