A break in harmony with nature

A break in harmony with nature is a balm for the body, mind, and soul. Guests at the Deltapark Vitalresort can enjoy relaxation, exercise, and indulgence right on the lake, surrounded by the Gwattlischenmoos and Kanderdelta nature reserves.
Preserving this oasis and the environment, as well as using resources responsibly, has always been particularly important to Deltapark. As part of the myclimate “Cause We Care” initiative, guests have had the opportunity since this spring to make an effective contribution to climate protection and sustainability through a voluntary donation. As a token of appreciation, the business doubles the donation and uses the funds to support high-quality climate protection projects as well as local initiatives. By opting out of daily room cleaning, guests can help further reduce water and cleaning product consumption—as well as energy use—in addition to the existing sustainability measures. This makes a relaxing stay at Deltapark even more environmentally friendly. The Deltapark cuisine is also becoming even more authentic, with a focus on regional ingredients and vitality. The kitchen team, led by Rolf Knecht, ensures guests enjoy a balanced diet featuring regional products. As a founding member and board member of the Regio Network Upper Lake Brienz, he volunteers his time to promote the distribution of local products. “You’ll also be able to taste this authenticity in our menus,” the 45-year-old announces.
