From apprenticeship to reception manager - Larissa Muralt and her success story at Deltapark Vitalresort

From training company to favorite workplace
In 2008, Larissa Muralt began her training as a hotel specialist at the former GWATT Center. After successfully completing her apprenticeship, she gained further experience as a receptionist both at the GWATT Center and at another company in the region.
With the reopening of the Deltapark Vitalresort in January 2016, a new phase began as Larissa found her way back to Gwatt. First as a receptionist, then as deputy manager and since March 2021 as head of reception - Larissa's career at Deltapark has been characterized by constant development, commitment and the desire to take on more and more responsibility.

At the top with expertise and heart
Parallel to her professional practice, Larissa completed further training to become a Chef de Réception with a federal certificate. This training laid the foundation for her current dual role as Head of Reception and Revenue Management. She not only takes on management tasks, but also ensures a smooth guest experience - from check-in to departure.
Her tasks include the entire organization in the front and back office at the reception: scheduling the team's work and vacations, processing e-mails and correspondence, invoicing and guest service by telephone. In the role of revenue management, she is also responsible for the price calculation of all offers - including pricing on Deltapark's various booking platforms.

Dynamism and responsibility - exactly your world
"What I like most is the variety," says Larissa. "No two days are the same. Sometimes the daily schedule is clear in the morning - and in the evening everything looks completely different." It is precisely this unpredictability that motivates her to remain flexible and give her best every day.

A place with charisma and warmth
Her goal is clear: "Every guest should leave the Deltapark with a smile and feel completely at ease with us." This is exactly what she is committed to day after day with heart and mind. Her story shows how training can become a passion - and how consistent development can lead to a leading role.
