The Hauenstein Group at the Inferno Triathlon: Four strong personalities in focus

From August 15 to 17, 2025, the Bernese Oberland will be the backdrop for one of the toughest endurance events in the world: the Inferno Triathlon. With an altitude difference of 5,500 meters and routes from Lake Thun to the Schilthorn, it will challenge even the most experienced athletes.
As a hotspot sponsor, Hauenstein Immobilien AG, part of the Hauenstein Group, is once again a partner of this legendary competition. We had already set up our first team in 2024 - but it was unable to compete due to the event being canceled.
This makes it all the more exciting that our "Hauenstein-Connected" team is competing for the first time this year. Four strong personalities - Gian-Andri, Nathalie, Daniel and Thomas - are taking on the challenging Inferno Team Trophy together. With competence, passion and confidence, they will compete to push boundaries together and create a unique sporting experience.
Gian-Andri
With skis and a map through the snowy forests: Gian-Andri is not only an enthusiastic cross-country skier, but also a member of the Swiss B squad in ski orienteering. His greatest successes - an 8th place at the Elite World Championships and a bronze medal at the Junior World Championships - are testament to his perseverance and precision. In summer, he swaps his skis for a bike, running shoes and roller skis and often completes his sessions in the gym. In the fall, he will also start studying osteopathy at the FFHS in Zurich.

Nathalie
It was clear early on that sport was Nathalie's world. She switched from swimming to triathlon and made it all the way to top-level sport. After several years at the highest level, she decided to end her active career this winter. Now a new chapter is opening up for the 21-year-old: from August, she is looking forward to teaching primary school - in addition to her studies at the Schwyz University of Teacher Education. Her story shows that her passion for movement does not end with her professional career - it remains, now with new priorities.

Daniel
Music from Tream on his ears, looking ahead - this is how Daniel motivates himself for his training sessions in ski orienteering. The 26-year-old from Unteriberg loves rösti, admires cycling star Remco Evenepoel and knows that success is built on endurance and precision. Whether on the trails or in everyday life - Daniel lives the spirit of the Inferno Triathlon: always going that little bit further.

Thomas
Thomas is a true all-rounder - whether biking, racing cycling, swimming, kitesurfing, skiing, ski touring or hiking, he is passionate about everything he does. Professionally, he runs Fässler Bedachungen-Bauspenglerei AG as a self-employed building tinsmith and roofer and is also active in real estate development. For him, sport is both a balance and an adventure - perfectly embodied by the Inferno Triathlon, which demands precisely this versatility.

We are proud to be able to accompany Gian-Andri, Nathalie, Daniel and Thomas on their journey and to support the Inferno Triathlon as a sponsor - an event that combines endurance, team spirit and passion for sport like no other.
