A Visit to RAMSEIER—Who's Behind It?
RAMSEIER Suisse AG is a long-established brand in the Swiss beverage industry and part of the fenaco cooperative. The company processes exclusively Swiss fruit for juice. Production and bottling take place at Swiss locations; the pressing facilities are located in Sursee (LU) and Oberaach (TG), among other places. In addition to classic apple juice, the company produces spritzers, naturally cloudy varieties, and seasonal specialties.
Our Partnership: More Than Just Apple Juice
With us, you can enjoy the full variety of the RAMSEIER ecosystem—depending on the location and season:
- RAMSEIER: Naturally cloudy/light apple juice, apple spritzer, specialty products.
- ELMER Mineral (still/sparkling) & ELMER Citro – fresh lemon from the Glarus region.
- SINALCO: Classics like orange, cola, and more—a favorite with young and old alike.
This way, we can offer the perfect drink for every occasion—from brunch to dinner, from kids’ favorites to light wellness drinks.

Why RAMSEIER Is the Perfect Fit for Us
Quality starts with the source. RAMSEIER uses Swiss cider apples, a large portion of which come from standard trees. This aligns with our commitment to regional sourcing, short supply chains, and authentic flavor. That’s exactly why we serve these beverages every day and for a wide variety of special moments in our restaurants.

From Fruit to Juice—That's How the Flavor Is Created
What you see in the video is genuine Swiss craftsmanship: After the harvest, farmers deliver their fruit to regional LANDI collection centers, from where it is transported to the two RAMSEIER processing plants in Sursee (LU) and Oberaach (TG). There, the fruit is washed, chopped, pressed—and, depending on the product, gently processed further.
New facts that will inspire you:
- More than 4,000 Swiss fruit farms supply RAMSEIER.
- 50–60 % of Switzerland's fruit for juice (apples and pears) is processed by RAMSEIER.
- About 50,000 metric tons of apples and pears per year—in over 30 varieties (e.g., Tobiässler, Sauergrauech, Bohnapfel).

High-stem makes all the difference
About 75% of the fruit used by RAMSEIER comes from standard trees —an important contribution to biodiversity and the preservation of our cultural landscape. These traditional orchards shape the Swiss landscape, provide habitat for numerous animal species, and yield aromatic, distinctive fruit that you’ll find in our jars.
The number of standard trees in Switzerland has declined sharply over the past century—from over 15 million to about 2.3 million. RAMSEIER recognizes the additional effort required by this form of cultivation and supports its preservation through fair purchase prices and targeted funding.
By choosing RAMSEIER, we’re working together to support this valuable Swiss fruit tradition—and bringing its distinctive flavor straight to your glass.

What you’ll taste when you drink our products: pure Swiss ingredients, a lot of craftsmanship, and a clear commitment to standard-tree cultivation. Quality with a Seal—and Ideas in a Glass
RAMSEIER relies on Swiss ingredients and works with recognized Swiss labels (including Suisse Garantie, organic lines, and the Hochstamm initiative). For those who prefer something lighter: innovations such as partially desugared apple juice round out the product line—with the full flavor of apples but less sweetness.
