There is a FoodTrail in the Gantrisch Nature Park starting in Wattenwil. This is an enjoyable scavenger hunt with the special feature that you only know the starting point. You set off on an unknown route with unknown food stops. This is an exciting and entertaining adventure.

How does it work?

By solving a riddle, you find a pleasure station. There you are rewarded with something to eat or drink or a special experience. You then receive a new riddle to find the next pleasure station. In this way, you enjoy six stops.

And if you can't solve a puzzle? Don't worry, it's enjoyable. Various aids ensure that you can find all the pleasure stops. For example, a picture sheet is available and in an emergency you can send a text message to let you know where to stop next.

A special feature awaits the food trailers

There are several FoodTrails in Switzerland(more here). Each one is specially built for the region and its culinary specialities. You can also enjoy hidden corners, local producers and beautiful views along the way.

A forgotten culinary heritage was reinterpreted especially for the FoodTrail Gantrisch. The Gantrisch region lies at the gates of Bern and Thun. During the Belle Époque, this area was home to one of the most famous spas in Europe, the Grand-Hotel Gurnigelbad.

Bathing in healing waters alone did not make the international spa guests happy and healthy. They also had to drink sulphur water - often for breakfast. To make it easier for them to bear, they also had to eat healthy food. On the FoodTrail Gantrisch you can get a speciality from back then in a modern version.
